REVIEWS
“Maureen Younger, this year’s New Act of The Year contestant whose sharp self effacing humour brings interesting new perspectives to the stageHackney Empire

"A week of roaming about the Festival.. but aside from the big names, there's a lot of talent out there. One comedienne in particular has stood head and shoulders talent-wise above the others again and again: Maureen Younger, with her peach of a delivery on 'fuck it.. fuck it'... “ MGCK Music Website

“I felt like I'd learnt something as well as being entertained by comedians Paul MacCaffrey, Gavin Hammer and especially Maureen Younger." Alexis Wood - BBC Southern Counties Website

"Maureen Younger is superb. In front of a packed crowd her frank humour, sharp delivery and personable stage presence made her a winning performer during this year’s Edinburgh Comedy Festival. She is a “must see” on the comedy circuit!" Wanda Keenan, Host, Comic Irrigation

"Her recent performance at the Brighton Festival Fringe 2006, showed audiences that she has the essential ingredients necessary to be one of the UK’s funniest comics. Maureen has an exceptional ability to engage with her audience and this combined with her honesty and wit, you can’t help but want more”.  Maddie Bridgett, Host of RAW

"Maureen Younger is a force of comic nature. Fast feisty and more than a little dangerous she has a set packed with great one liners yet perhaps her greatest strength is ad-libbing with an audience. A big personality married to a generous comedic sensibility, Maureen will go far!”  Jack Milner (one of the UK's foremost comedy coaches)“Maureen Younger makes you cry with laughter! A wonderful, beautiful, talented spirit”.  NirjayMahindru, Producer

“Younger’s fabulous act ….alone makes this (Pretty Dirty Things) a worthwhile stop for that all-important first week nightcap.” Richard Cray
